Give Him Back To God begins with the seduction of eight-year-old Giovanni (John) Martino in a Seminary in Italy, and culminates with his murder as a priest in a small Florida town. Angela Sullivan, deserted by her first husband, is involved in an automobile accident and two of her children are killed. Blaming herself, she attempts suicide, but Father John intervenes and a love affair ensues. When he decides to end the affair, Angela now pregnant, again threatens suicide and a dramatic confrontation occurs during Sunday Mass. John, torn with guilt, leaves the church and marries Angela. When Reggie is born, she is his reason for living but thirteen years later, he longs to return to the Church. Angela, insecure and terrified of losing him, disbelieves his motives and becomes sexually aggresive in an effort to win him back. . . but her perverted attempts only drive him further away.
